Lafayette’s Landing: Tech Hub and Hands-On Discovery Space
The Havre de Grace Library’s Lafayette’s Landing features a STREAM station, where children ages 7 and up can explore simple aspects of Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math. Activities are updated quarterly, and children get the chance to build, learn, and explore!
Featured items regularly available on Lafayette’s Landing include:
- Legos & Lego Mural DIY Wall
- Light Table
- iPads featuring educational STREAM games daily
- Some scheduled and pop-up programming may occur on Lafayette’s Landing, which may feature our 3D Printer, coding robots, augmented reality technology, and more!
When visiting, please remember:
- Activities on Lafayette’s Landing are suited for children ages 7 and up. Younger customers will discover age-appropriate activities in our Children’s Area and Schooner Cove.
- Lafayette’s Landing is a shared learning environment. Please be courteous of others and share the space and materials fairly.
- Featured activities cannot be checked out of the library. Unless an HCPL barcode is on an item, items should remain in Lafayette’s Landing.
- Please clean up when you are finished exploring our activities. This helps keep Lafayette’s Landing a welcoming space.
