FAQ’s

  • How do I sign up for Winter Reading?
  • I share an email address with someone in my household, how can we both sign up for Winter Reading?
    • Our system only allows an email address to be used by one user. If you share an email address with someone in your household, one person can use the email address and the other person should create an email address for their account. We recommend using “firstnamelastname@noemail.com” to create an email address for your account.
  • How will I know if I have earned my mug?
    • Once you have reached your goal of reading 5 books (3 if you are a high school student) you will see a message on your Dashboard letting you know you have earned your mug!
  • What if I forget my username I created for my account?
    • Contact your local library branch to have staff retrieve your username for you!
  • What do I need to do to be entered for a chance to win a swag bag?
    • This year we have added a new element to our Winter Reading program! There are lots of activities that you can complete in order to earn an entry for one of our 20 swag bags. Visit the “Log Activities” page on your Dashboard to see what activities you can do.
  • What if I don’t have access to the internet to register for Winter Reading or log my books/activities?
    • Call your local library branch to have staff get you signed up for Winter Reading!
  • How do I get my mug?
    • When mugs become available, you will need to make an appointment to pick up your mug using the same reservation site that we use for our Grab and Go service. If you need help, call your local library branch to speak to a staff member.
